2 Men Found Dead Of Suspected Carbon Monoxide Poisoning In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - Two men are dead in Detroit after a likely case of monoxide poisoning.

Authorities say the men were found dead Wednesday night at a home on Stout Street, near West McNichols and Evergreen roads on the city's west side.

The house did not have electricity and, according to reports, police found a generator in the basement -- the likely cause of the deadly fumes.

At this point, police don't suspect foul play.

The victims' identities have not yet been released.

An investigation is ongoing.
