DETROIT (WWJ) - Two men were arraigned Sunday related to a break-in and shooting of a Taylor homeowner.

According to police, 33-year-old Jeremy Jones broke into the home of John Henry on Wilkie, near Ecorse and Beech Daly.

Police say Henry caught Jones while he was stealing, and asked him to drop the items.

Jones allegedly refused and shot Henry in the head.

Police say the girlfriend was there, and was able to call 911 once Jones left.

Officials say Jones then called another man, William Chaffin, to help him with the stolen property.

Henry is still in critical condition.
