2 Charged With 2nd Degree Murder, Abuse In Death Of Infant

DETROIT (WWJ) - A man and a woman from Detroit have been charged with second degree murder and child abuse in the death of an infant.

Police were called to a home on Keating last week and found an unresponsive child suffering from what appeared to be burn marks.

The child was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital.

Twenty-two year old Sandford McQueen and 23-year old Karen Marie Geletzke were arraigned Sunday and bound over for trial with no bond.

Their preliminary hearing will be February 16.
