15-Year-Old Detroit Girl Missing Since Last Month [PHOTO]

DETROIT (CBS Detroit) - A Detroit mom is worried about her 15-year-old daughter who disappeared more than two weeks ago.

Niya Walker was last seen by her mother, Sonya Doss, at her home in the 19600 block of Telegraph at around 8 a.m. on Monday, April 18.

Doss told CBS Detroit that they've been getting a lot of tips that her daughter might have been seen in Eastpointe, in the area of 7 Mile Road and Moross.

Doss said there are concerns that Niya might be with a woman known as Kay-Kay, who she says prostitutes young girls.

Niya is described as a black female with a light brown complexion, around 5 feet, 5 inches tall and 130 lbs. with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing an orange jacket.

Detroit police say Niya is considered a habitual runaway.

Anyone who has seen Niya or knows of her whereabouts, is asked to call Detroit police at 313-596-5640 or 313-596-1616.
