UPDATE: Missing 14-Year-Old Detroit Girl Found

UPDATE: Ebony Gray was found safe and was at school on Wednesday, according to police.

DETROIT (WWJ) - A 14-year-old Detroit girl has been missing since she ran off following an argument with her mother last Friday — and police are looking for tips to help bring her home safe.

Police say Ebony Gray was last scene at around 9:30 a.m. on May 15 at her family's home in the 16100 block of E. 7 Mile Road.

She's described as a black female, 5 feet, 6 inches tall and around 135 lbs. She has reddish-brown hair she wears in medium-length braids, brown eyes, a medium complexion, and a medium build.

Ebony was last seen wearing a  purple sweater with a hood, black stretch pants and black and white Jordan gym shoes a and carrying an over-the-shoulder book bag.

Anyone who may have seen Ebony or who has information on her whereabouts is urged to call Detroit police at 313-596-5940.
