14 In Serious Condition After Bus Collides With Two Vehicles Due To Broken Traffic Light

DETROIT (WWJ) -- A reported 14 people were listed in serious condition after a multi-vehicle accident, involving a D-DOT bus in Detroit on Saturday.

Authorities tell WWJ that traffic lights were not working at the corner of Fairfield and W. Six Mile when the bus and another vehicle failed to stop and the two vehicles collided just after 1 p.m.

The bus then crossed the center line and hit a minivan head-on. Twelve people including the driver were injured on the bus. A 17-year-old female and 35-year-old male were the other two drivers hurt.
