13-Year-Old Boy Arrested After Breaking Into Lansing Science Center

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Police have arrested a 13-year-old boy following an early-morning break-in at Impression 5 Science Center in Lansing.

WILX-TV reports police responded around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday to an alarm at the science center and found an open door and a teen inside.

Police say the boy had taken some merchandise from the museum's gift shop. The teen was taken into custody and placed in juvenile detention.

The Lansing State Journal reports no one else was in the building at the time. The museum says no exhibits were damaged.
