10 Mile Road to have temporary detour between Lahser and Telegraph roads

Southwest Detroit residents devastated by flood; suspected mail thief caught; and more top stories

A section of 10 Mile Road will be temporarily closed in Oakland County, Michigan, to allow for sanitary sewer pipe installation, according to a notice from the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioners' Office

The closure will be from Feb. 22 through Feb. 27 from just west of Larges Drive to Berg Road, which is between Lahser Road and Telegraph Road. This section of 10 Mile Road normally sees 20,460 vehicles a day.

Through traffic should take a designated detour that is Berg Road to Civic Center Drive to Lahser Road, back to 10 Mile Road and vice versa.

Residential and business access will be maintained.
