1 Person In Custody After High Speed Chase Ends In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) - One person is in custody after Detroit police say he led them on a chase for 17 minutes. Officials say it started on Detroit's east side when police caught the suspect in a drug transaction.

The chase ended when Michigan State Police helped box in the suspect at Mound and Mt. Eliot.

Police say he crashed into an MSP car, before he was taken into custody.

At one point there were about 30 police cars involved in the chase.

No one was injured.

Police are still investigating and ask anyone with information surrounding this incident to contact them.
