$1 Million Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold At Detroit Gas Station
DETROIT (WWJ) - If you've recently purchased a Mega Millions lottery ticket from a gas station in Detroit -- you could be $1 million richer.
Michigan Lottery officials say one ticket sold at the Linwood Mini Mart and Citgo gas station on Linwood Street just north of Chicago Boulevard, matched five numbers on Friday night's drawing -- just one short of hitting the jackpot.
The winning number was 14-20-43-54-69, Mega Ball 5.
Since no one matched all six numbers, the jackpot now rises to $74 million for Tuesday's drawing.
Twelve people across the state won the second biggest prize of $500 for matching four numbers.
