$1 Million Powerball Winner Sold At Downriver Party Store
TAYLOR (WWJ) - Someone in Metro Detroit is a whole lot richer.
Officials with the Michigan State Lottery say a winning $1 million ticket for Wednesday's Powerball drawing was sold at Get & Go Market on Beech Daly Road in Taylor.
The winning numbers for the February, 12 drawing are: 36-44-49-52-57, Powerball-1.
The lucky ticket holder matched the first five numbers, but came just one number short of winning the whole shebang, which was estimated around $284 million.
Since no one matched all six numbers, the jackpot will rise and roll over for the next drawing on Saturday. It will be at least $330 million.
The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot are 1 in 175 million.
