1 Killed In US-23 Crash In Ann Arbor

ANN ARBOR (WWJ) - One person was killed late Thursday night in a crash along US-23 in Ann Arbor.

Joyce Williams, with Huron Valley Ambulance said they received a 911 call shortly before midnight about an accident on the northbound side of the freeway, near Joy Road.

Williams said there were two vehicle involved.

"One of the vehicles rolled over and...the person in that vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The other car — there were no injuries to anybody in the other car," Williams said.

It's unclear what caused the accident as an investigation continues. WWJ is awaiting a call back from Michigan State Police for more information.

The victim's name was not immediately released.
