1 Injured In Fire At Dearborn Stamping Plant

DEARBORN (WWJ) - One person has been injured in a fire at Ford Motor Co.'s Dearborn Stamping Plant.

A spokeswoman for Ford told WWJ Newsradio 950 it happened when a propane-filling station caught fire outside of the plant on Miller Road Tuesday afternoon.

The employee who was burned was taken by EMS to a local hospital. It was not immediately clear how badly he or she was injured and no name other details about the victim were immediately released.

The fire is contained, but police said it remained an active scene at 4:30 p.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
