GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Police say an arrest has been made after the body of a woman was found on the campus of a community college in western Michigan.

Police say officers found the body about 2:50 a.m. on Saturday near shrubs and bushes at Grand Rapids Community College. A witness reported seeing a man dragging what appeared to be a body near a main building and parking ramp. The death was investigated as a homicide.

Police on Monday announced an arrest and said an afternoon news conference is planned.

The name of the woman and the identity of the person who was held weren't immediately released. The school told police that notifications were sent to all students and staff.
