1 Girl Dead, 3 Other Young Children Critical After Crash Near Flint

GENESEE COUNTY (WWJ) -- A single-vehicle accident left a 12-year-old girl dead and six others injured near Flint on Monday night.

The crash happened around 7:45 p.m. on I-475, closing a portion of both the northbound and southbound lanes, according to WNEM. An 18-year-old was allegedly driving with six children. Three of those passengers were thrown from the vehicle, according to police.

The 12-year-old died on-scene. Meanwhile, a 9-month-old is in extremely critical condition, two others are in critical condition and the driver is in stable condition at this time.
