1 Dead, 5 Injured After Confrontation At Party Turns Deadly

DETROIT (WWJ) - Gunfire claims the life of a party-goer at a Detroit hall.

Detroit police have confirmed that a 44-year-old man is dead and another five people have been shot at the Chalmers Community Hall near East Outer Drive early Sunday morning.

The shootings happened just after 4 a.m. according to police after a confrontation turned deadly during a party.

A spokesperson for DPD says he thinks there may be two people in custody in connection with the shootings.

Three men and two women are being treated for their injuries as police continue to investigate.
