1 Critical, 3 In Serious Condition After Head-On Collision In Detroit

DETROIT (WWJ) -- One man is in critical condition and three others are hurt following a high-speed crash in Detroit on Saturday afternoon.

It all happened near Conner and College streets around 1:45 p.m. Police say a 22-year-old driving a Chevy Impala was headed northbound on Conner when he crossed the center lane and smashed into a Ford Expedition head on.

Inside the Expedition -- which rolled -- was a 34-year-old woman driving with 7 and 11-year-old passengers.

The 22-year-old is in critical condition and the others are listed in temporary serious condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
