SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities have charged one man with murder and are holding another suspect in the shooting death of a 23-year-old mother of twins at an apartment complex near Ann Arbor.

The Washtenaw County sheriff's department says investigators found Allysha Tomlin's body Sunday at Sycamore Meadows in Superior Township. The Ann Arbor News says she's the mother of twins.

The sheriff's department says two men got in a fight at Tomlin's home Sunday. It says that 20-year-old David Gordon Jr. left, then returned with an accomplice.

The department says the two of them opened fire on the home, hitting Tomlin in the head.

Gordon was arraigned Tuesday on an open count of murder and weapons charges. It's unknown if he has a lawyer.

The other suspect is jailed awaiting charges.
