Young Woman's Body Found, Missing Teen Taken Into Custody

BERTHOUD, Colo. (CBS4) - A search for two missing teens has ended in Mesa County with the locating of the male's truck and discovery of a deceased young female.

Ashley Doolittle, 18, from Berthoud, was reported missing Thursday night at approximately 8 o'clock. Family members searching around Lon Hagler Reservoir discovered her unoccupied vehicle.

Tanner Flores, 18, with whom Ashley recently ended a relationship, was also reported missing Thursday. Deputies and investigators worked Friday to locate the two teenagers and Flores' pickup truck.

Investigators received information at 8 a.m. Friday regarding a possible sighting of Flores' truck in Mesa County.

The sheriff's office there responded to the report, and found Flores' truck and recovered the deceased body of a young adult female near the community of Collbran.

Flores was taken into custody and is being held in the Mesa County Jail.
