Wyoming Man Cited In Crash That Killed Colorado Biker

CODY, Wyo. (AP) - A Wyoming man has been cited for careless driving in a crash that killed a motorcyclist from Colorado.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 40-year-old Tyler Schwab, of Cody, lost control of his 2000 Toyota Tundra while momentarily looking for a water bottle he had dropped while driving on Wyoming Highway 120 Friday. The Cody Enterprise reports that he swerved into the oncoming lane and struck 41-year-old Christian Tafoya, of Loveland, about 40 miles northwest of Thermopolis.

Tafoya was thrown from his Victory motorcycle and later died at the hospital.

His death was the 100th this year on Wyoming highways.
