Wrong-Way Driver Killed In Head-On Collision With Semi On I-270

COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - A fatal head-on crash shut down part of Interstate 270 early Sunday morning.

According to police, a wrong-way driver crashed into a semi-truck and was killed.

Investigators are still trying to find out why the car crossed the median but they don't believe drugs or alcohol are involved.

The victim's name hasn't been released.

The highway was reopened at 6:45 a.m.
