World Series Winning Pitcher For The Royals Is A Colorado Native

DENVER (CBS4) - The Kansas City Royals have one Colorado native on the World Series champion team and he was the winning pitcher in Sunday night's clinching fourth victory.

Reliever Luke Hochevar was born in Denver and was a standout in sports at Fowler High School.

Hochevar was nearly perfect in the postseason. He won two games in relief and didn't' give up a run. He gave up just six hits and one walk in 10 2/3rds innings pitched in the post season.
