Woman With 'Mohawk' Sought In Connection With Attempted Murder

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies in Fremont County would like the public's help locating a woman they believe was an accessory to an attempted murder.

According to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office, Kristina Jean Knowles, 37, of Canon City, was with suspect John McCune during a Williamsburg shooting on Sept 19.

"Knowles is wanted for felony accessory to attempted second-degree murder and false reporting," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "Knowles was last known to have a Mohawk type hair style with the sides of her head shaved."

The victim, whose name hasn't been released, is expected to recover.
