Woman With Disabled Daughter Gets Wheelchair Ramp Courtesy Of West Metro Firefighters

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - West Metro firefighters are making a difference for a Lakewood woman caring for her daughter.

The firefighters teamed up with Home Depot to build a wheelchair ramp at Lora Norby's home. Norby's daughter has disabilities and has frequent doctor visits. The ramp will help her get in and out of the home.

The City of Lakewood also played a part in the build. It fast-tracked the building permit so construction could begin right away.
