Woman Who Murdered Former Denver Teacher Overseas Sentenced To Death

DENVER (CBS4) - On Monday a court in the United Arab Emirates sentenced a woman who murdered a former Colorado teacher to death.

Alaa Bader Abdullah attacked teacher Ibolya Ryan inside a bathroom at an Abu Dhabi mall last year. Police say she targeted Ryan because she was American.

Ryan, who taught kindergarten in the United Arab Emirates, once taught school in Denver.
