Woman Spray-Painted In Face During Robbery

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) - An Englewood woman said a man robbed her Tuesday night after purposely crashing into her car and then spray-painting her face.

Police said the robber intentionally rear-ended her vehicle as she pulled into her driveway after a trip to Walmart. The assault and robbery happened in the 4700 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue.

The robber exited his car, confronted the victim and then sprayed her with black paint. He then took her wallet, phone, cash, credit cards and keys. Police said they pinged her phone and discovered it was in Colorado Springs.

She told police there was no altercation on the road that could have spurred the attack.

The man was driving a white sedan with a logo on the side of the car. He is about 6 feet tall and might have been drinking or has a speech impediment.
