Woman Pleads Guilty To Role In Her 2-Year-Old Son's Death

DENVER (CBS4) - A Denver mother admitted to her role in the death of her young son.

Candice Lampley, 30, pleaded guilty to child abuse resulting in death. Javion Johnson was just 23 months old when he died.

Lampley's son was brought to the emergency room with injuries consistent with being beaten and burned.

The mother's boyfriend, Delonta Crank, 37, is also facing charges in the boy's death. He's pleaded not guilty.
