Woman Found Inside Impounded Car In Castle Rock

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Castle Rock are investigating the death of a woman found in her car at a local towing company.

Officers were called to Westside Towing at 1080 Atchison Way about 9:40 a.m. on Thursday on reports that a woman was sleeping in her car.

Police found the woman who was deceased in the back seat. The car had been impounded in December.

The cause of the woman's death is being investigated. She has not been identified.

Police are working with the Douglas County Coroner's Office and the Douglas County Crime Scene Unit.
