Woman Facing Charges After Burning Confederate Flag In Manitou Springs

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A woman is facing arson charges after she burned a confederate flag in a public park in Manitou Springs.

The YouTube video shows the flag burning in Soda Springs Park on July 4. Organizers burned the flag as part of a protest.

Police ticketed Patricia Cameron, 32, for arson. Investigators are also looking for another suspect seen in the video.

Police said while they respect the right to free speech, the flag burners posed a risk to other people at the park.
