Woman Dies After Found In Parking Lot, Homicide Investigated

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Aurora police are investigating a homicide after a woman was found injured in a Burlington Coat Factory parking lot.
Officers responded to a welfare check at 1200 South Abilene Street at approximately 10 p.m. Sunday, where the female was found. She was taken to the hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators haven't released too much information but did tell CBS4 the woman was not an employee of the store.
Police have not released any suspect information.
