Woman Arrested In Connection With Springs Man Found Dead In Iowa

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4)- A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a 61-year-old Colorado Springs man whose body was found in Iowa.

In the early morning hours of Wednesday Bionca Rogers, 21, turned herself into authorities in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in connection with the death of Grant Michael Frazier. A warrant for first degree murder had been issued for Rogers, 21.

Authorities said she was last seen with Frazier, who was found dead in Newton, Iowa, which is near Des Moines.

Frazier's car was also found in Newton, about 700 miles from Colorado Springs.

He had been missing since Feb. 16, and police say the details of his disappearance were suspicious.

The El Paso County District Attorney's Office is coordinating extradition efforts with officers in Iowa to bring Rogers to Colorado.

Police wouldn't say whether the two knew each other or where they were seen together. Police haven't said where Rogers is from.

It has not yet been determined if Rogers acted alone.
