Windsor Lake closed until further noticed due to algae found in water

The Town of Windsor has closed access to its lake due to a recent discovery of algae in the water.

Officials say blue-green algae was found in the water as the bacteria can affect individuals, plants and wildlife. 

Recreational water activities will not be available, but boaters with permits can still go out at their own risk.
