Wind warnings expire in Colorado, but breezy conditions will persist

Several days of strong winds in Colorado are starting to ease in Colorado.

A red flag warning in Denver expired at 5 p.m. on Thursday.

Wind warnings went into effect on Tuesday thanks to the jet stream and things stayed gusty on Wednesday and during the day on Thursday. That was because Colorado was caught in a pressure gradient between a high and a low.
