Wildfire That Threatened Homes Quickly Doused

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - Firefighters battled a brush fire in Douglas County Wednesday afternoon.

According to South Metro Fire Rescue, they have fully contained a 3-acre fire that briefly threatened homes near Inspiration Place and North Antelope Trail.

Just before 3 p.m. the fire department announced the blaze was 100 percent contained and no structures were harmed.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
