Approximately 125 homes were placed on mandatory evacuation notice and 29 more were placed on pre-evacuation notice. The majority of those evacuations were lifted at 11 a.m. due to the fact that the fire was mostly contained.

All evacuations were lifted at 1:30 p.m. Friday but those evacuations west of 65th between Nelson and St. Vrain were reinstated an hour later due to flare ups.

CBS4 captured video of one structure burning. A total of 12 outbuildings and an accessory building.

It doesn't appear anyone was injured by the fire.

Evacuees were told they could go to the Exhibit Building at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The fairgrounds was also opened to any large animals who needed a place to be housed after being evacuated.

Several roads around the burn area were closed, including Nelson Road from 51st to 63rd.
