Wildfire Burns 3 Acres Near Nederland

NEDERLAND, Colo (CBS4) - A small wildfire burning in Boulder County is under control.

The Peewink Fire started on Sunday afternoon near Sugarloaf Road east of the Barker Reservoir and Nederland. It burned between 3 and 4 acres.

Crews stayed on scene overnight to contain it. No homes or buildings were lost.

The cause of the fire was determined to be a homemade exploding target. Officials said they want to talk to anyone who may have witnessed the fire as it got going.
