BLM Returns Some Wild Horses To Sand Wash Basin After Last Week's Roundup

MOFFAT COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Bureau of Land Management completed its wild horse roundup operations last week. More than 700 horses were rounded up.

The BLM said they released 49 horses back into their home in the Sand Wash Basin. They also introduced three mares into the Spring Creek Basin to enhance the herd's genetic pool. That basin is southwest, near the border with Utah.
