Dog Rescued From Icy Lake After Chasing Birds Onto Frozen Surface

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)- Firefighters in Westminster came to the rescue of a dog that chased some birds and ended up on an icy lake. That left the dog stranded on the frozen surface.
One of the firefighters suited up, grabbed the dog and then they were both pulled back to safety.
Firefighters say the owner did the right thing by not following the dog onto the ice.
