Weld County Deputies, K9 Officer Rescue Man Stranded During Snowstorm

WELD COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- A group of Weld County Sheriff's Office deputies are being credited with saving a man's life after he got caught in a snowstorm. The deputies, along with K9 officer Ringo, found the man in a field in Weld County.

Investigators said he had been trying to walk from Fort Collins to Cheyenne, Wyo. on Highway 287 when he became lost in a snow squall last week.

Deputies found him lying in a field near Cobb Lake. He has since made a full recovery.
