Waiting List Grows For Wee Cottages In Boulder County

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)- There will soon be more than 100 families living in what are being called "Wee Cottages" in Boulder County.
The 1,000 sq. ft. single family homes are being built in Longmont. There are already Wee Cottages in Stapleton and Loveland.
According to the Longmont Times Call, there are already more than 400 people on the waiting list for a wee cottage. The Longmont homes will include 102 homes with prices starting in the low $300,000s.
Of those, 27 will be earmarked as affordable housing with prices in the low $200,000s.
Developers say they hope to have all of the homes built by late this year.
