Waterton Canyon Closed, River Running Running 5 Times Its Norm
LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - Waterton Canyon remains closed to the public as fast water persists. Denver Water shared video showing how fast the South Platte River is flowing.
It is running five times the normal rate for this time of year, prompting the closure. Denver Water crews say the river is too dangerous for any recreational activities.
