Water World Marks End Of Season With Doggie 'Beach' Day

FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. (CBS4) - Water World in Federal Heights went to the dogs on Saturday for the park's annual Bow Wow Beach Doggie Day. One thousand furry Coloradans and their owners came out to the event.

"It's like water world is a giant dog park for one day. It's incredible," said Kris.

The water park hosts the dog splash as its final event of the season before closing. Officials say tickets sold out in record time this year.

A portion of the proceeds went to Riverdale Animal Shelter.
