Water Main Break Disrupts Traffic, Impacts Homes

DENVER (CBS4)- A six-inch water main break disrupted service to some homes on Tuesday morning. It took crews about six hours to repair the break.

The water main break happened just after 6 a.m. at 2nd Avenue and Hazel Court on Tuesday.

Copter4 flew over the water main break where water was running into the road.

Denver Water told CBS4 there were about five homes affected.

Water was restored to homes before noon. Crews finished repairs and patched the road. The road was reopened by 1:30 p.m.
