Water Contamination Issue Forces School To Close

STERLING, Colo. (CBS4)- A water contamination issue forces a school to shut down for several days. Students at Sterling Middle School won't be able to go back to class until Tuesday.

The issue with the water was first noticed on Wednesday.

Water officials think chemicals from the boiler system somehow got into the water.

The school is working on repairs while the city flushes out nearby fire hydrants and pipes as a precaution.
