Warning Sent Out About Snowy Conditions In High Country

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - A strong autumn storm moving into Colorado was bringing gusty winds, much colder temperatures, and even snow to some of the higher mountains.
The Colorado State Patrol reported enough snow on Rabbit Ears Pass that road surfaces were covered and travel was slick Monday afternoon.

High mountain snow will remain a possibility overnight Monday and into the day on Tuesday with the best chance in the northern mountains.
But the main weather story for Colorado will be the wind and much colder air moving in for the rest of the week.
Most of the precipitation with this storm will be north of the state in parts of Montana and Wyoming.
