Ware Becomes Sole Holder Of No. 9 Spot On NFL Sack List
DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware is now the sole owner of the ninth spot on the NFL's all-time sack list after his hit on Colts quarterback Andrew Luck Sunday in the second quarter.
Ware now has 136 1/2 career sacks.
Ware had previously held a tie for the spot with both Jared Allen and Julius Peppers.
Allen retired this offseason as a Minnesota Viking, where he played most of his career, after losing in the Super Bowl to the Broncos as a member of the Carolina Panthers.
With that half sack, Broncos LB @DeMarcusWare has moved into sole possession of 9th place in NFL history with 136.5 career sacks.

Peppers still plays as a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers. They play Allen's former team, the Minnesota Vikings, in Sunday night's game.
Bruce Smith holds the record for most sacks in NFL history with 200.
