Walmart Burglar Makes Off With Sony Playstations

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Deputies in Jefferson County want to identify a man accused of breaking into a locked display case and stealing Sony Playstations and gaming systems hard drives.

On April 5 a man entered the Walmart store located at 13420 W. Coal Mine Ave. and broke into the locked display case. He stole $1,200 worth of Sony Playstations and external hard drives for the gaming systems.

When the suspect entered the store, he grabbed a shopping cart and placed pieces of cardboard in it. He then went to the electronics department and after a few minutes of struggling with the locked case, he was able to force it open.

Then he removed the merchandise and concealed it in a cart under some cardboard. He then pushed the cart out of the store.

The burglar is wanted for third-degree burglary, which is a felony.

The suspect is described as a bald white male, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-1, between 160 and 170 pounds. He was wearing a dark shirt, dark pants and dark shoes or boots.
