THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4) - A Walgreens in Thornton unveiled a new kiosk where people can get rid of unwanted medication.

It's part of an effort to fight opioid abuse in Colorado.

The pharmacy is located at 120th Avenue and Colorado Boulevard.

It's one of 11 new disposal sites the company is introducing in Colorado.

People can also get the antidote for opioids without a prescription at all Walgreens stores in Colorado.
