Von Miller Extends Career-Long Sack Streak
SAN DIEGO (CBS4) - Broncos linebacker Von Miller has credit for a sack in seven straight games.
Miller sacked Chargers quarterback Phillip Rivers in the second quarter of the game.
This is the longest streak of Miller's career.
With that sack by @Millerlite40, he now has a sack in seven consecutive games to establish a career high.

Twice previously, in his rookie year in 2011 and again in 2014, Miller had streaks of sacks in six straight games.
With his hit on Rivers, Miller now has 7.5 sacks in the six games this season, with an additional 2.5 sacks against the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.
It is tied for the third longest sack streak in Broncos history.
Lyle Alzado (1984-85) also had a streak of 7 sacks.
Simon Fletcher is the team leader for sack streaks, having one for 8 games (1991) and one for 10 (1992-93), which is an NFL record.
Miller now has 67.5 sacks in his career, which is good for third on the Broncos all-time list.
Ahead of Miller on that list are Karl Mecklenburg (79) and Simon Fletcher (97.5). Trevor Pryce (64) and Elvis Dumervil (63.5) round out the top five.
