Virgil Green Not Fazed By Rotation Of Broncos Quarterbacks

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Virgil Green is making waves this preseason.

After two games, the Broncos tight end has 7 receptions. That's second most for any tight end across the league to this point.

Green told CBS4 on Xfinity Monday Live that he worked with Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez over the summer, so it's no surprise he's got good chemistry with him.

But Green has had good chemistry with all three of the Broncos quarterbacks who are currently in a battle for playing time and he says the constant changing of quarterbacks hasn't been an issue.

"It's not," Green told CBS4. "I think the coaches do a great job making sure everybody gets reps with all the quarterbacks. We've all really adjusted with all three quarterbacks. It's not a tough adjustment at all."

Green and his wife recently had a baby, and when CBS4's Michael Spencer asked if Green lost any sleep during training camp as a result of having a 4-month-old to care for, Green laughed and replied: "No. My wife does a great job. She's a champion. She's a real champion.
